22 years of experience as an Inventor, Technologist, Entrepreneur, and Executive in the MedTech sector including:Co-Founder and COO of BrainsGate (2000-2004), CEO of Nicast (2005-2007), Co-Founder and CEO of Endospan (2008-2017), Co-Founder and Executive Board Member of SynCath Neuroscience (2018-Present). MSc (cum laude) in Electrical Engineering from Tel-Aviv University.
Prof. Natan T. Shaked, PhD

Natan Shaked - QART’s co-founder and chief scientist, brings his immense research experience and know- how as well as his expertise with holographic imaging of sperm cells.
Natan has been an active researcher for over 18 years. Chair of Biomedical Engineering Department at Tel Aviv University, Israel. Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Duke University. Chair of the SPIE Label-Free Biomedical Imaging and Sensing (LBIS) Annual Conference in San Francisco. Fellow of the Optical Society of America (OSA). Author of over 90 peer-reviewed journal papers, over 160 conference papers, and chapters in several books.
Shimon Oz, MBA

Shimon Oz, QART’s CFO, brings over 25 years of extensive financial and business management experience.
Shimon has served as a CFO, executive director, economic consultant, independent advisor, and investment banker for clients including Scitex Corp, Forum Film, Elan Jaglom Group, Mig Group, Infinity VC Group, Dekora Group and others. Shimon holds an MA in economics and an MBA (cum laude) from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Arik Drori, QART’s VP R&D, brings over 20 years’ experience in R&D with well-developed leadership and problem-solving skills. Arik is an innovator with out-of-the-box way of thinking.
Arik led system & development teams in Real-imaging, GE-Versamed, Optical-imaging, and more. Arik holds a BSc in electrical engineering from Tel-Aviv University, and MBA from Heriot-watt university in Scotland.
Noa Siegel
Clinical, Regulatory, and QA AffiliateNoa, QART's Clinical, Regulatory, and QA Affiliate, provides support in the execution of clinical trials, regulatory submissions, and quality system operations. She is currently pursuing a degree in Biomedical sciences with a specialization in Neuroscience at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and brings operational experience and expertise from service in the Israel Defense Forces.

Dana is finalizing her M.Sc in electrical engineering from Tel-Aviv university, developing image processing algorithms for holographic imaging.

Optics Design LeaderSimcha Mirsky, QART’s Optics Design Leader, has a PhD in biomedical engineering from Tel Aviv University and brings over 9 years of experience in holographic system design and image processing, with 22 peer-reviewed papers and 2 patents in this field.

Served in the US Navy for 23 years including as Associate CIO for the Military Health System where he managed >$900M in annual Health IT spending at 520 hospitals covering 10M patients worldwide.

Dr. Susan Alpert, MD, PhD

Dr. Alpert held multiple positions at the FDA including as director of the FDA’s Office of Device Evaluation. Dr. Alpert holds an MD from the University of Miami (Florida) and a Ph.D. from New York University.
